Sajid Khan is one name nowadays that is constant in news headlines. While on one side his participation in Bigg Boss 16 is still a big controversy and hot topic of discussion, now an old video of Sajid Khan’s interview is going viral.
But before we get deep into the story, did you actually know that Sajid Khan was engaged to Gauahar Khan? Yes, the duo was in love and were set to tie the wedding knot with each other. But unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned as they parted ways before getting hitched forever.

The engagement between Sajid Khan and Gauahar Khan was broken and Sajid Khan blamed his ‘Dheela character’ for the same. In an old interview, he was asked about his relationship with Gauahar Khan and he confessed to being the reason behind their split.
When the interviewer directly asked Sajid Khan about why the couple parted ways, Sajid Khan began answering by calling Gauahar Khan a ‘lovely girl’. He then confessed that his character was loose and he used to hang out with other girls and lie to Gauahar.
He said, “Uss waqt mera character bohot dheela tha. Seriously! Mai uss waqt ladkiyon ke sath bhaar ghoom raha tha aur unko bohot jhoot bol raha tha. Maine aise koi badtameezi nahin ki but har ladki ko, ‘I love you, will you marry me?’ bolta tha”

Sajid Khan then also went on to describe his other relationships and wedding plans when the interviewer asked him why he isn’t married yet.
Sajid Khan said, “Ab tak meri kuchh 350-400 shaadiyaan honi chahiye thi, lekin nahi hui.. I’m sure ki main jitni bhi ladkiyon ke saath apni life mein tha. kahin na kahin wo thhoda mujhe miss bhi karti hongi… Aur thhoda gaali bhi deti hongi…”

(Till now, I would have been married at least 350-400 times, but it didn’t happen. I’m sure that all the girls that I have been with in my life, must be sometimes missing me now, and also cursing me sometimes.)
The video clip from the same interview is also going viral on the internet. The netizens are actually surprised to know that Sajid Khan and Gauahar Khan were once engaged to each other.
Moreover, after splitting with Sajid Khan, Gauahar Khan dated Kushal Tandon and finally got married to Zaid Darbar in December 2020.
