Bollywood actor Salman Khan is once again entangled in controversy. He and his sister Alvira Khan and six others associated with Being Human have been summoned by Chandigarh Police in an alleged case of fraud.
A local businessman, Arun Gupta has complained that he had opened a deluxe store under the brand “Being Human Jewellery”, by spending Rs 2 to 3 crore in 2018. Gupta said he was guaranteed that they would provide all kinds of backup and also promote the brand.
Police said, Not only Salman Khan but his sister and other people linked with this case have been called for an inquiry on July 13 to validate the facts of the complaint included the Being Human Foundation CEO and officials of Style Quotient (licensee of Being Human Jewellery)
As per Gupta’s complaint, neither goods were delivered to him nor promotion agreements were fulfilled. He even reached out to company officials but everyone refused their commitment.
Moreover, according to the news portal, he complained that he was assured that Salman Khan will come himself for the inauguration of the showroom. But he sent his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
Further, local business Arun Gupta demanded an FIR in the case as he has given them time till July 13 to reply.
