Salman Khan Reacts To Claims Reporting He Charged 1000 Crores For Bigg Boss 16

Mark our words that anything that is connected with Bigg Boss can make headlines and possess exceptional powers to go viral. It was recently when every news portal, no matter big or small, published content based on rumors which actually was big. Reports claimed that Bollywood’s Dabbang superstar actor Salman Khan has demanded a whopping fee of 1000 crores for hosting Bigg Boss 16. Though there was no official confirmation of the claims, this news managed to float on the internet like wildfire. 

And it did not end there as it was also said that after Salman Khan’s crazy demand, Bigg Boss makers have decided to let go of Salman Khan and get Khatron Ke Khiladi host Rohit Shetty on board to host season 16 of Bigg Boss.

And nobody would actually know what’s true and what’s not until or unless someone officially addresses the rumors like Salman Khan recently did. He interacted with journalists and media in a virtual media briefing. And there he opened up about Bigg Boss 16 and also broke his silence on the rumors of him charging 1000 crores. 

The Tiger actor went straight up to say, “I would never get this much and if in reality, I get this amount, I don’t think I’d be working. I have a lot of expenses like on lawyers and because of these rumors, income-tax people will start noticing me.”

Salman Khan publicly and very clearly rubbished all the rumors of him charging such a jaw-dropping amount as a fee to host a single season of Bigg Boss. According to another report released by Pinkvilla, Salman Khan also went on to describe his actual fees for Bigg Boss 16 and stated, “It’s not even 1/4th of the amount.”

In the interaction, Salman Khan also went on to talk about why reports of him planning to quit hosting Bigg Boss often make headlines. Salman said: “Well, I am often asked if I am doing the show or not, so I get irritated sometimes and tell these people (producers) that I don’t want to do the show. But these people are helpless as they feel if not me, then who else. So, they have no choice.”
