The superhit on-screen Jodi is once again ready to rock. Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are set to play the lead in the upcoming Punjabi film ‘Sher Bagga’. It will be officially released worldwide in theatres on 10 June, 2022.
We have finally got the first look at Ammy and Sonam’s character in the film. The Sher Bagga team shared the poster of the film on social media and Ammy Virk can be seen carrying kids’ toys while Sonam Bajwa is playing a pregnant lady in the film. So, what can be interpreted from the poster is that the film could possibly revolve around the parents – Ammy and Sonam and their child.
The writer and director of the film, Jagdeep Sidhu also shared the first look of the film on his social media. He also added that this film is not from the writer of films like Qismat and Sufna, rather from the writer of films like Nikka Zaildar, Shadaa and Guddiyan Patole. This means that it is not going to be a film with an intense plot, but an enjoyable and fun comedy.
Sher Bagga is also set to star Deep Sehgal, Nirmal Rishi, Kaka Kautki, Baninder Bunny, Rup Khatkar, Jasneet Kaur and Gurdiyal Singh in the supporting roles. It will be presented under the banner of Thind Motion Films and Ammy Virk Productions. Thind Motion Films also produced Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill starrer Honsla Rakh.

The credits for writing the songs of the film goes to Happy Raikoti, Shera Dhaliwal and Kiran, Raj Fatehpuria and Farmaan. The music has been produced by Avvy Sra, Jaymeet, Sunnyvik and Oye Kunaal. While the Indian distribution of the film will be handled by Thind Motion Films, worldwide distribution is going to be managed by White Hill Studios.
Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are one of the most successful on-screen couples in the Punjabi Cinema history. The two have previously worked in Nikka Zaildar, Nikka Zaildar 2, Puaada and Muklawa, all of which performed amazingly at the box office. Now, the audience has high hopes from Jagdeep, Ammy and Sonam in Sher Bagga, releasing on 10 June.
