After breaking box office records with Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set for his second movie of 2023, Jawan, helmed under one of the best director, Atlee. The film’s announcement got a thundering response from the fans, and SRK was appreciated for his new look. However, while the film was all set to release on June 2, the buzz is that the release date has been pushed to a later date.
The sole purpose of Jawan’s postponement is to ensure that the film’s content is not compromised. The shooting of the film finished in April 2023, and the post-production work is currently ongoing in full power with Indian as well as worldwide studios working on the film’s visual effects. Shah Rukh Khan essays the role of a father and a son in the movie, which is pitched as a Mega-VFX action film.

Pinkvilla was informed by an unidentified source that the “Jawan” team is making every effort to ensure that the film’s VFX and special effects are flawless. However, the source told the entertainment portal, “The team needs some more time to complete the film’s visual effects, and they would rather come up with a product that competes with the best in the country than a substandard one.” The source also said the dates were chosen with the VFX requirements and guidelines.
Several international companies are working on the special effects, which will take longer. Due to the film’s post-production delays, Shah Rukh Khan has postponed his film from June 2 to August 25. However, an announcement for the same is underway.
