The Bollywood superstar and evergreen crush of female fans, Shahid Kapoor has always been in headlines for various reasons. And currently the actor is in the news after he revealed Mira’s reaction to his lifestyle and unexpected kitchen collection. The actor revealed that he only had 2 spoons and 1 plate before his wife Mira moved in to live with him.
Yes, that sounds surprising. It’s unusual to imagine a superstar actor who’s a household name living with a set of 2 spoons and only 1 plate. And so was the reaction of newly wed Mira Rajput to it.
Recently in an interview with Instant Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor opened about the funny story and revealed how Mira changed everything in his life. Shahid had shifted to a house after getting married to Mira in 2015 and when Mira saw Shahid’s cutlery collection, she constantly complained about it. She questioned Shahid about only having 2 spoons and 1 plate and asked, ‘How do you even live?’. To this, the Jab We Met actor replied by saying ‘I live alone, how do you want me to live?’
He further mentioned: “She said we don’t even have a set. What if guests come, how do you serve people? I said ‘I don’t know, we order out.’ So now that we have a new house, we could make it the way she wanted it to be and she was happy. It is a house which is made for the family and so both of us have worked towards it.”
Shahid has always been very open and public about his relationship with wife Mira Rajput. Even though the actors had an arranged marriage, the couple stays in news headlines for their sparkling chemistry and posting mushy pictures on social media. Bollywood fans consider Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput an ideal couple and their relationship is usually quoted as ‘Couple Goals’ on social media.

Talking about Shahid’s professional front, the Kabir Singh actor is busy promoting his upcoming movie Bloody Daddy. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film will stream on Jio Cinema from June 9.
