Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife Shalini Singh filed an appeal at Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court on Tuesday, denouncing him of domestic violence, among other things. Shalini’s 120-page petition details her multiple allegations against the rapper.
Further, she accused him of leaving her alone on the trip, and for being in a drunken state. When she asked him about it, he pulled her hair, slapped her and told her to ‘shut up’.
Not only this, but she also claimed that her father-in-law once walked into her room in an intoxicated condition while she was changing her clothes and foraged his hands over her chest. Shalini also said that there is proof to show many acts of domestic violence executed upon her, requesting the court to issue orders against the rapper.
Hirdesh Singh, known by the stage name as Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Talwar tied the knot on January 23, 2011.
Moreover, in the plea, Talwar has claimed how she was physically assaulted by Singh over the last 10 years.
She disclosed how Singh and his family broke her mentally and emotionally so much so that she almost started identifying herself as a “farm animal, shepherded from here to there while being treated cruelly”.
