During all this, Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan has made some bizarre statements about the bowler’s success which has shocked all the fans.
In an interview with NewsNation, Hasin Jahan was asked to comment on Shami and the Indian cricket team’s success. She began answering by saying that she isn’t a fan of cricket and cricketers.
However she went on to saying that as quoted by insidesports, “Kuch bhi hai, accha perform kr rha hai, accha khelega, team main bna rhega, achha kamayega toh humara bhavishya secure rhega (Whatever it is, if he [Shami] is performing well, will stay in Indian team and earn well, it will secure our future.)”.
About Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan
Mohammed Shami and Hasin got married on June 6, 2014. In 2015, they welcomed their daughter. Hasin Jahan lodged an FIR against the cricketer on March 8, 2018 accusing him of infidelity, threat and dowry. They have been living separately since then.
Earlier this year, the Kolkata court ordered Shami to pay ₹1,30,000 to Hasin Jahan as monthly alimony.
