Released in 2015, Shareek, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Guggu Gill and Mukul Dev, became fan-favourite just with its release. Its sequel became one of the most anticipated Punjabi films ever. The sequel starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud was finally announced and set to be released on 29 April, 2022.
Just when the fans were finally getting ready for the grand release of the film, it was then postponed through an official social media announcement. 29 July, 2022 was set as the new release date of the sequel to the blockbuster.
Now, the team has once again changed the release date of the film but the fans should be happy with this change. The film has been preponed! Shareek 2 will now be releasing worldwide in theatres on 24 June, 2022.
Presented under the collaborative banner of While Hill Studios, Thind Motion Films and Ohri Productions, Shareek 2 stars Yograj Singh too, along with Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud. The story has been written by Inderpal Singh.
Navaniat Singh has directed the film, who was also the director of Shareek. This film has been one of the most awaited Punjabi films since its release. The fans cannot wait any longer to watch Jimmy Sheirgill against Dev Kharoud this time.
