2021 is a big year for Punjabi Film Industry. The year has already seen big title announcements and the list feels never-ending. Now, the ‘Sher Bagga’ has become the next big movie to be officially announced. The movie will star the superhit on-screen Jodi of Sonam Bajwa and Ammy Virk once again. The announcement was made public through an Instagram post.
The Collaborative production of Thind Motion Pictures and Ammy Virk Productions has been written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the man behind movies like Qismat, Sufna, Nikka Zaildar and other big titles. Daljit Thind and Ammy Virk have produced the movie in a collaboration.
Jagdeep Sidhu’s movie announcement post hints at the premise of the movie. The artist states that though he is mostly recognized for his beautiful writing in the movies like Qismat, Sufna and Moh but according to him, Shadaa is the beginning of his story and Sher Bagga, the end.
The caption also called Sher Bagga another fun fest by Jagdeep Sidhu after Shadaa and Nikka Zaildar, which hints at the movie having a humorous premise, just like the two of these.
Interestingly, Ammy Virk and Jagdeep Sidhu are also all prepared for one of the biggest titles of their careers scheduled to release on the 24th of September 2021. The sequel to all-time Punjabi great, Qismat, also stars Ammy Virk in the lead role. Sher Bagga is another big title announced this year, let’s just hope the official release date drops as soon as possible!
