Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra has made headlines as she has recently filed a police complaint against filmmaker Sajid Khan. Sajid Khan is already a controversial topic on the internet as netizens feel his participation in Bigg Boss 16 is inappropriate.
Recently Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Kanishka Soni and popular Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee opened up about the incidents when Sajid Khan sexually harassed them. And now, Sherlyn Chopra has joined the league by filing an official police complaint about an old incident from 2005 when she was allegedly molested by Sajid Khan.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Sherlyn could be heard saying to paps, “I have come to the police station to file a complaint against Sajid Khan, who is a #MeToo accused. He is a habitual sexual predator and molester. I have come to file a complaint against him under IPC section 354, 354 A. The police have assured me that I will be called very soon to record my statement. After that, #MeToo accused Sajid Khan will also be called for questioning.”
While sharing the video on her official Instagram account, Sherlyn Chopra wrote in the caption,
“#metoo आरोपी– #sajidkhan के ख़िलाफ़ कल मैंने जुहू पुलिस स्टेशन में यौन शोषण, क्रिमिनल फ़ोर्स, क्रिमिनल इंटिमिडेशन की शिकायत दर्ज की।
आशा करती हूँ कि जल्द से जल्द क़ानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू हो”
Sherlyn’s spokesperson told ETimes, “We would not like to disclose the sections but we have filed it under outraging a woman’s modesty. We have also mentioned how he has come on the Bigg Boss show to whitewash his image. Sherlyn Chopra has dispatched the complaint to the police also marking deputy commissioner as well as the National Women’s Commission.”
Her lawyer Sohail Sharif explained the developments and said, “Today, Sherlyn has filed a police complaint against Sajid Khan under various sections and she has already dispatched it to the Juhu police station to register an FIR against Sajid under Section 354 for outraging the modesty of a woman. One of Sherlyn’s conditions is that Sajid should be suspended from the Bigg Boss show. She has already written to Union Minister Anurag Thakur. And in a day or two, we’re issuing a notice to Colors TV also to stop airing the episodes of Bigg Boss wherever Sajid is there.”
