Popular and loved actor of Punjabi film Industry, Diljit Dosanjh has recently announced his upcoming movie ‘Shikra’ to be released in 2022. He took it to his Instagram handle where he shared the beautiful poster of the movie which also reveals that it is written and will be directed by Amberdeep Singh. Apart from this, the poster says, the movie is presented by Story Time Productions and Amberdeep Productions.
The poster of the movie looks romantic and is spreading autumn vibes, and if we talk about its title, Shikra means ‘A Hawk’, and when combined these two might prove to be an amazing and outstanding theme. Also, while sharing the poster, Diljit shared a special line as the caption, in which he wrote, “Choori kuttan oh khanda nai ..”
And for those, who don’t know, these lines are from a very popular poetry by Shiv Kumar Batalvi which has been performed by various renowned singers including Jagjit Singh too. All these hints are surely making us curious and equally excited to get our hands on more details about this upcoming movie. But for now, apart for this, no other info or details about this special project is out yet. The poster, Diljit or Amberdeep also have not disclosed the female lead of the story which might be a surprise or because she isn’t finalised yet.
Talking about Diljit’s work, Diljit also has ‘Jodi’ directed by Amberdeep Singh in line for its release, and Honsla Rkah with Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaz Kaur Gill on 15th October.
