Shilpa Shetty And Raj Kundra File Rs 50 Crore And Defamation Case Against Sherlyn Chopra

Shilpa Shetty And Raj Kundra File Rs 50 Crore And Defamation Case Against Sherlyn Chopra

Recently Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been filed against a sexual harassment case by Sherlyn Chopra but now both Shilpa and her husband Raj have sent a defamation notice to actor Sherlyn Chopra seeking an apology and Rs. 50 crore in damages for “lewd, below the belt” remarks against them on public platforms. The couple has also asked for a ‘public apology’ from Chopra.

Their official statement reads, “The entire allegations made by Ms Sherlyn Chopra against Mr Raj Kundra and Ms Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Ms Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge, and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money.”

Kundra and Chopra are both condemned in indecency cases being investigated by the Maharashtra Police. Moreover, Kundra was recently approved of bail in one of the three cases. The notice states that this is Chopra’s attempt to exempt herself from the investigation against her.

Regarding allegations about JL Stream App, the notice states that Kundra is the App’s founder, where fans can meet, chat and view exclusive content from their favourite influencers. Chopra was one of the influencers on this App.

However, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is in no way connected/or involved in the management of the JL Stream App. “That, you have been dragging Ms. Shilpa’s name, in the press conference, with an ulterior motive, to defame Ms. Shilpa, gain TRP, attention and to create unwanted controversy,” the notices state.

Now Sherlyn will have to pay the cost of the leak notice too. Further, if she will not revert within the next seven days, criminal proceedings would be initiated against her.
