Shinda Kahlon: The Magician Behind AP Dhillon & Gurinder Gill’s Superhit Songs

Amritpal Singh Dhillon aka AP Dhillon, Gurinder Gill, and Shinda Kahlon are in talks with the Punjabi community both here in India as well as Punjabis settled abroad. The trio earned a lot of fame when their song Brown Munde received immense love from not only Punjabis but from Indians all over the world.

Their debut album “Not by Chance” was admired and loved by the audience. “Insane’ being one of their greatest single hits, the group has touched various bars of success. 

Recently, the trio released their album ‘Hidden Gems’ and as expected, the audience showed massive love. They are currently in India for their tour which they have named ‘The takeover tour’ and the videos from their live concert flooded the internet. 

But do you know, who’s the main man behind all their songs? 

Shinda Kahlon is the one who writes and composes all their songs. Belonging to Dujowal, a border village in Ajnala town of Amritsar. Shinda moved to Canada as a student at a very young age. Having writing and singing songs as his hobbies, Shinda met AP and Gurinder in Canada, who too were fond of singing.

Shinda wrote a debut song for AP Dhillon titled ‘Fake’ which was a massive hit. Later on, Gurinder Gill collaborated with them and the trio became one of the best teams in the industry.

Their projects are loved by Punjabis all over the world due to their meaningful lyrics and Westcoast type music. From writing up-beat songs like Majhail, Arrogant, Don’t Test to writing Romantic songs like Desires, Saada Pyaar and much more.

He has even mentioned in a verse of the song ‘War’ not to judge him by his desi appearance. Shinda is undoubtedly one of the finest and the most versatile writers and composers of the Punjabi industry. And this really makes him an all-rounder.
