Shivangi Joshi claimed that she was offered an important role in a popular web series but she was removed from it at the last minute. She said that she had passed several rounds of auditions and everything was set but just before the series started she was informed that she was being replaced. She further said that a star kid was taken in her place in that series.
Even though Shivangi has not taken the name, fans are speculating that the web series the actress is talking about is Heeramandi. Coming in support of Shivangi, a fan wrote, “So she was offered the role of Alamzeb in Heera Mandi, we all have seen his pictures from the audition. This would have been a game changer for her.
‘‘If Shivi had played the role of Alamzeb, it would have been different, but there is nepotism going on here.”
Let us tell you that Heera mandi was released in May this year. Sanjay Leela Bhansali had directed it. Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sharmin Sehgal were seen in the lead roles.
