Shooting Reel Turns Tragic As Car Falls 300Ft Down The Gorge In Maharashtra

A shocking and tragic incident has come to light from Maharashtra’s Satara district, where a young man’s adventure turned into a life-threatening accident. Sahil Anil Jadhav, a 20-year-old from Kapil Goleshwar in Karhad taluka, had gone with his friends to visit the popular upside-down waterfall near Patan taluka. While his friends were exploring the area and clicking pictures near Table Point at Gujarwadi Ghat, Sahil stayed inside the car and began taking photos from his seat.

According to reports, while trying to turn the vehicle, Sahil lost control—possibly due to brake failure—and the car slipped on wet grass. In a horrifying moment, the vehicle plunged nearly 300 feet down into a gorge. A video of the accident was captured and is now going viral on social media, shocking viewers across the country.

The incident happened along the Patan-Sadavaghapur-Tarale Road in Mhavashi village on Wednesday. Local police and rescue teams rushed to the scene. Fortunately, a group of police cadets who were nearby for training immediately joined the rescue efforts. They helped pull Sahil out of the severely damaged car.

Sahil was critically injured and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. His condition remains serious. The tragic event is a grim reminder of how dangerous stunts or careless driving near cliffs and ghats can be, especially during monsoon season when roads are slippery. Authorities are urging visitors to hilly areas to remain extremely cautious and avoid taking unnecessary risks.
