Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case: Accused “Tinu” Escapes Custody In Punjab

Sidhu Moose Wala murder case has became one of the most burning issues in Punjab. Moreover, the Punjab police as well as the central agencies have been nabbing a lot of gangsters and linked members for the past few months. However, in Punjab, an accused in Moose Wala murder case, managed to run away from custody. 

As per the information, gangster Deepak alias “Tinu”, who was arrested along with two of his associates a few days back, escaped the custody. Reportedly, Deepak is one of the close aides of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Despite being under custody, shockingly, on Sunday, Deepak managed to escape from the CIA (Crime Investigation Agency) unit of the Mansa police. 

According to the report of The Hindustan Times, a senior police official (anonymous) confirmed the escape of gangster Deepak alias Tinu from police custody, adding that the state police has been put on an alert and a search operation has also been initiated to find Tinu. Surprisingly, as per the media reports, the role of Mansa CIA incharge is also under scanner now.

On July 4, the Punjab police arrested gangster Tinu in connection with the Moose Wala murder case and took him into custody on transit remand. Subsequently, Deepak alias Tinu is one of the 24 defendants accused on the chargesheet in the Moosewala murder case. 

Furthermore, it’s not the first time that Tinu escaped from police custody. Even in 2017, during a medical checkup, he managed to run away from Civil Hospital Panchkula, after spraying papper in the eyes of an official. Moreover, now Tinu’s escape is a matter of concern for Punjab police, and questions are raised over the security lapses. 

In 2017, when Tinu escaped, it took 6 months for the officials to nab him. Reportedly, he was arrested from Bangalore at that time. Being one of the close aides of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, and accused in Moose Wala’s murder case, Tinu’s escape has shocked the Punjab police. Furthermore, the search operation has been initiated and the officials are hoping to find and arrest him again as soon as possible.
