Sidhu Moosewala Joining Politics As An MLA From Mansa, Is It Finally Confirmed?

Sidhu Moosewala, a name who is always making headlines due to his music, is once again in the news, but this time, for some reasons totally unrelated to singing or music. A few days ago, rumours spread that Sidhu Moosewala was joining politics! And was all set to contest the Punjabi Assembly Elections 2022 from Mansa constituency. But most of the fans did not believe them.

But now, it seems like the rumours might actually hold a substance to them. Sidhu’s close friend, Sunny Malton recently uploaded an Instagram story wherein he mentioned that an artist has a life apart from his music career. He added that singers have many goals and dreams that they want to achieve. This might seem like a generic story, but things become interesting when we see Sidhu Moosewala tagged in it. Sidhu even added the story to his own account.

Sunny Malton wrote that they have chosen other things in their career to fulfil their life, but the music will never stop! Since the story has come immediately after photos from Sidhu’s residence with various villagers and political figures of the area started surfacing, it makes us believe that all the rumours about Sidhu joining politics, are actually true.

This is a big sign and a huge hint that cannot be taken lightly or ignored. Sidhu Moosewala joining Punjab politics would be a huge move in his career. We have seen many singers joining politics after their musical career, but it’s hard to recall somebody with the hype of Sidhu and somebody who was at the peak of his career, joining politics. 

The Punjab State Assembly Elections of 2022 are already on the threshold. The political drama has already started in Punjab and the parties are gearing up for making their sides as strong as possible with strong leaders prior to the elections. Sidhu Moosewala’s addition could prove to be a huge positive for the political parties. Rumours are that Sidhu might join Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party, but the confirmation remains unclear as of now.
