Moosetape Climbed Up To 65th Position On Billboard Album Charts

‘Moosewala naam dilan utte likheya Khaasa zor lagg ju mitaun vaaste’, Diljit Dosanjh recently dedicated this line for the sensational Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moosewala, who passed away in May this year. But his legacy is touching new heights and proving Diljit’s lines true every day.

Sidhu Moosewala’s Moosetape, the 2021 musical album has climbed to its peak 65th position on Billboard Canadian Album Chart. Earlier, Moosetape was ranked at 71st spot on the same Billboard chart.

Currently ranked 65th on Billboard Canadian Album Chart, Moosetape is a marathon album of tracks released by Sidhu Moosewala last year in May-. It was nothing less than a carnival for Sidhu’s fans as they were getting a new masterpiece every week for almost three months. The track “295” charted at 154 on the Billboard Global 200, making Moosewala the first Punjabi singer to do so.

Moosetape included 32 tracks for which Sidhu Moosewala collaborated with artists across the globe. Some of those are Bohemia, Divine, Tion Wayne, Stefflon Don, Sonam Bajwa and Raja Kumari.. Fans appreciated and enjoyed this three month long musical marathon of Sidhu Moosewala

Sadly, Sidhu Moosewala is not among us to witness his amazing feat. Sidhu was shot dead on May 29th this year by Lawrence Bishnoi in Jawaharke, Mansa. Since then all his fans are in mourning, however, this Billboard ranking update must have pleased them.
