It’s been more than 3 weeks since Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic death. The Punjabi community and many more people all over the world who knew Sidhu have still not been able to get over the loss. However, there are some people who have completely thrown the word humanity out of their dictionaries.
Sidhu Moosewala left an unreleased song ‘SYL’ behind at the time of his death. After his death, it was revealed that the song will soon be released. However, the song being a very controversial one, was not yet released and some fraudsters found a way to fetch some views and money out of the song.
The song SYL was leaked by unknown sources over Youtube. They used the public sentiment and the hype around the song for their own benefits. People were really eager to listen to what would be Sidhu Moosewala’s first posthumous song release but it was leaked on Youtube.
Now, strict actions have been started against these fraudsters. One Digital Entertainment, the company that owns legal rights of the song, have started hitting these fraudsters hard with copyright strikes and removing the song from Youtube.
As of now, the company has removed most of the leaked versions of Sidhu Moosewala’s SYL. Sidhu Moosewala’s Leaked SYL had garnered millions of views for these fraudsters but the action has now been taken.
Sidhu Moosewala’s team had requested everyone through his Instagram account after his death, not to release or leak any of Sidhu Moosewala’s songs. Many people had even been arrested under charges of leaking Sidhu Moosewala’s SYL.
