Sidhu Moosewala v/s Fanpages: Why Are The Fans Disappointed, Following Brown Munde’s Superhit Concert?

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that many artists dream of the fanbase that Sidhu Moosewala has earned in a short span of time. His fans have played an important role in helping the artist break world records, be it 5 million comments on an Instagram post, millions of views or millions of comments on his song on Youtube. But lately, it seems like some of the fanpages are upset with Sidhu’s behaviour.

AP Dhillon, Gurinder Gill and Shinda Kahlon performed for the first time ever in India recently. The first show at Gurugram (Gurgaon) of their Takeover Tour has turned out to be a huge hit and many have compared it to the levels of western hip-hop artist’s concerts. This made Sidhu Moosewala’s fans imagine what could the artist do if he had such a show!

We know that Sidhu Moosewala is undoubtedly one of the best live performers currently in the industry. He holds records in terms of crowd at his concerts and wherever the artist goes, millions of people follow him. Many fans and big fan pages of the artist started questioning Sidhu’s management that why wasn’t the artist having such grand concerts even though he has all the potential to do so.

Another reason why Sidhu’s fans seem upset with him is his recent Instagram story. Many of Sidhu’s fanpages have been questioning the way Sidhu is moving ahead in his career in recent times. They questioned management companies for it. Some even criticised Moosetape for being an ‘average album’ and the music not keeping up to their expectations.

And the next day, Sidhu Moosewla came up with an Instagram story wherein he wrote that ‘they’ think ‘they’ know better than him, wait & watch. He also asked ‘them’ to ‘Shut Up’. While the artist did not specifically mention his fan pages or fans in particular, it is being assumed that Sidhu’s story is a direct reply to all the questions that they were asking. This has brought a wave of disappointment among even some of Sidhu’s ‘die-hard’ fans.

The fans questioned Sidhu, sharing an old clip wherein he can be heard saying that he considers his audience as ‘God’ and pays attention to their reviews. Many of his fans have started protesting against the singer by turning their profile picture ‘black’. Sidhu’s fans are upset with him and are blaming him for following a ‘Denialism’ strategy to ignore constructive criticism and disrespect his fans.
