Sikander Kahlon is a well-known Rap artist, he has in-depth knowledge of HIP HOP. He is a part of the KKG group (Kala Kurta Gang) from Chandigarh. It consists of three members Sikander Kahlon, Rob C and Sady Immortal. He was part of many projects such as Beparwah, Curse & Gift, Nakaaraatmak, Ambition and many others.
Recently, citizens from state Punjab found out that Sikander is following Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. People who are supporting farmers for more than half a year in ongoing farmers’ protests burst with anger.
As per the mass, the government is not listening to farmers’ demands and appropriate measures have not been conducted by them hence, individuals are collectively voicing against government laws. Amid this, when they got to know that one of their favourite artists is following the PM over social media, they considered his action rebellious and started calling him Desh dhrohi.
Sikander replied to all those comments via an Instagram status, he wrote:
‘ SO. FOLLOWING UR COUNTRY’S PM IS DESH DROH NOW? DW I’LL FOLLOW MR. GANDHI TOO . [IF] HE BECOMES PM. BAAKI JO NAYA LISTENERS KO MUJHSE IDEOLOGY KI TAQLEEF HAI. U DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABT MY VIEWS AND IM A GROWN UP NOT A KID ANYMORE. CHK MY MUSIC.I WAS RAPPING ABOUT SOCIAL ISSUES, SHAHEEDI. NO MORE JOKES ON SARDAR. -BEFORE UR FAVOURITE SINGER STARTED STRUGGLING TO GO TO UL/USA’
