Sonam Bajwa is a very popular Punjabi film actress, well known for her amazing acting skills. Sonam has also worked in Tamil films before coming into the Punjabi film industry. Recently, she worked in Gippy Grewal’s Carry On Jatta 3 where Sonam Bajwa was in lead role with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kavita Kaushik, Binnu Dhillon, Nasir Chinyoti, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma and Karamjit Anmol in supporting roles. The film has come out to be a super duper hit and is about to touch the 100 crore club.
Recently, Sonam in an interview opened up about why she is not joining Bollywood. Her fans keep asking this question to her but she thinks this is not the right time to get into Bollywood as she doesn’t want to disappoint her Punjabi fans. She wants her work to be very good.
In the interview she said “Offers have been coming my way but it will happen when it’s meant to happen. I don’t want to do things here just because I should. I want to do something very, very nice because I’m also representing the Punjabi film industry. So, I know that my fans expect a lot out of me and I want to do justice to them when I come in as a Punjabi film actor.”

Adding to this Sonam said in Bollywood she met some people but sometimes the film was not right to make her debut in Bollywood. She wants her work to be very good whether she works in Punjabi, Hindi or South films.
“I’ve met people here but sometimes, the films they brought to me didn’t work out because of dates. At other times, I felt it wasn’t the right film to make my Bollywood debut with. I’m an actor who wants to do really good work and roles whether that’s coming from the Hindi, the Punjabi or the south film industry” said Sonam.
