Sonu Nigam lashed out at media house The Tribune

Everybody likes to be heard, noticed and followed by others. But not when your words are misheard or misunderstood. Something exactly like this recently happened with popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam.

Esteemed media house ‘The Tribune’ published an article about him in which they mentioned how the singer responded to a question in an interview with Times Now. The newspaper made an article out of it which Sonu didn’t like at all.

What actually happened: In the interview with Times Now, when Sonu was asked about his son’s future and his ambitions, Sonu replied by saying, ‘Frankly, I don’t want him to be a singer, at least not in this country. Anyway, he does not live in India anymore, he lives in Dubai. I have already got him out of India”

He also said, ‘He is a born singer but he has another interest in life. As of now, he is one of the topmost gamers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He is number 2 in Fortnite. There is a game called Fortnite and he is the top gamers in the Emirates. He is a brilliant child with a lot of qualities and talent. And I don’t want to tell him what to do. Let’s see what he wants to do himself.”

And taking a dig into this, ‘The Tribune’ published an article and also mentioned the hate comments of the netizens in it.

Sonu probably didn’t like all this and he posted a video on his social media accounts and lashed out at the media house, called the editor a ‘Dal*a*. In the video he justified his side of the story and said it’s his son’s choice to decide what he wants to do, and nobody else has any right to comment on that. Sonu called the journalist leftist and said they must not be this negative in life.
