Speed Records Meets Chairperson Of PWC, Manisha Gulati, To Discuss About The Future Of Punjabi Music

Punjabi superstar Karan Aujla and veteran singer Harjit Harman recently found themselves in legal trouble, accusing them of objectifying women in their recent song ‘Sharab’ from the album BTFU. The Music Label Speed Records, through which the album was released, also got involved in the matter.

The complaint was filed with the chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission, Manisha Gulati. All the three parties were asked to appear in front of chairperson Manisha Gulati on 22 September, 2021. Recently the team Speed Records met Smt. Manisha Gulati, and had a rather positive chat with her.

Speed Records uploaded an Instagram story with Smt. Manisha Gulati, and called her a ‘very humble and dynamic personality’. Being actively involved in the Punjabi Music Industry, both the parties talked about the future of the industry. Smt. Manisha Gulati expressed her views and provided her valuable vision for the industry. 

Speed Records also revealed that she consented for the promotion of Folk Music and Folk oriented songs in the future, which Speed Records is also a firm believer of. Ending the message, Team Speed Records thanked Smt. Manisha Gulati for her support and guidance to the industry.
