After giving another blockbuster this year, Srk is all set for his third film Dunki at the Christmas. Fans have been quite excited to watch Shahrukh Khan in a completely different avatar.
Earlier in Jawan, SRK chose a very different avatar that won the hearts of the audience and now the fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of his third film of the year.
Now, a trusted source from the exhibition center informed Bollywood Hungama, Salaar starring Prabhas will also get released during that time only.
The source said “We have received an email from AA Films that Salaar will hit the big screen on December 22, 2023. The film will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office across the globe.”
Further he said, “Hombale and Prabhas believe that there are enough screens globally to accommodate two films and give them an extended run of 3 weeks. It’s a strategic move to clash with Dunki on December 22″.
The producers will make an official announcement on Friday 29 September 2023.
About Prabhas’ Salaar
Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar stars Prabhas, Shruti Hassan, Jagupathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film will feature Prabhas in a ruthless avatar with all the super hit action scenes.
As per the director, he wants to give a memorable cinematic experience to the audience hence there was a delay since the VFX weren’t ready on time.
On the other hand, people have high expectations from Prabhas as this is his third film after 2 disasters Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.
About Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki
Dunki is a social comedy drama film starring our very own King Khan and Tapsee Pannu. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, this film is produced by Gauri Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Jyoti Deshpande. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, audiences are expected to see Boman Irani and Dia Mirza too in this blockbuster film. Dunki is set to be released on 22 December 2023.
Now all we have to wait for is the official announcement from the makers of Salaar as both the films have a potential of earning a lot of money and a clash in between them might harm the success of the other film.
