Diljit Dosanjh, who currently has a well established career as an actor in the Bollywood Industry, was recently interviewed by Anupama Chopra through Film Companion. When the actor was asked about his experience in the Bollywood Industry, the actor’s reply stunned everyone.
The otherwise calm and composed Diljit, replied ‘Superstar Honge Apne Ghar Pe’, when asked about Bollywood experience. He looked rather reluctant at first to talk about Bollywood, but chose to reply afterwards, with a very shocking answer.
He also added that he does not aim to pursue a successful career in Bollywood. He has full control over his music that nobody can take away from him. Nobody can question his choice of music. He can make whatever music he wants and nobody can question him that his music wouldn’t work, or that someone else’s song would perform better. All these don’t work on Diljit.
Talking about the Punjabi Music Industry, he went on to add that he is proud that Punjabi artists work independently and have freedom in their art. Nobody can stop their industry and Diljit from making their own music. Slamming the Bollywood industry, he said that he doesn’t give a damn about Bollywood and will keep on making music as long as he wants to or God allows him to.
