‘Stree 2’ Sets New Record, Defeats Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ And Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ In Terms Of Box Office Collection

‘Stree 2′ is successfully roaring at the box office. This film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, which has become an all-time blockbuster, has also bombed with success on its third Friday. It has also defeated Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’. 

Both these films had earned Rs 7.75 crore and Rs 7.10 crore on their third Friday. Whereas ‘Stree 2’ is far ahead of them. The film has collected a net collection of Rs 441.30 crore in the country in 16 days. Whereas on Saturday and weekend, double digit earnings are expected.

‘Stree 2’, directed by Amar Kaushik, had defeated films like ‘Animal’ (130.73 crores) and ‘Gadar 2’ (134.47 crores) along with Prabhas’s ‘Baahubali 2’ (143.25 crores) in its second week. This horror comedy did an impressive business of Rs 141.40 crore in the second week. The earning status has continued for the 16th day on Friday. In such a situation, now all eyes are on the third week, because while the film has a chance to enter the Rs 500 crore club in the country, it can also achieve the mark of Rs 800 crore worldwide.

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Stree 2’ has collected a net collection of Rs 8.25 crore in the country on its third Friday on the 16th day. This is much more than the third Friday earnings of ‘Animal’ and ‘Gadar 2’. A day earlier the film had earned Rs 8.50 crore. It is clear that ‘Stree 2’ has a very strong hold in the theaters and now it is preparing to create another new record in the third weekend.
