There has been a constant buzz around Welcome 3 and fans cannot contain their excitement about the film. As per the reports by Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar and Firoz Nadiadwala are reuniting for Welcome 3, Here Pheri 3 and Awara Pagal Deewana 2. The third part of the Welcome franchise will be known as Welcome To The Jungle and it will be directed by Ahmed Khan which will go on floors on Christmas 2024.
Suniel Shetty in Welcome 3
As per the fresh report by Pinkvilla, Anna of the bollywood industry, Suniel Shetty will be seen in a powerful role in Welcome 3.
As per a source close to the makers “Suniel Shetty shares a close bond with Firoz Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar and when the opportunity to be a part of Welcome came his way, he was instantly on board. He is all excited to play a role that has not been explored before in the franchise. It’s a comic role, but in a new light with a new character shade”.
The source also confirmed that “It’s a new character that he will be playing and has nothing to do with Yeda Anna or Shyam from Awara Pagal Deewana and Hera Pheri”.
Other changes to the star cast of the film
It was also reported that there had been quite a few changes to the starcast of the film. The iconic duo of Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai played by Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor respectively will not be seen in the third sequel.
Pinkvilla reported that the duo will be replaced by Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. Apart from these two actors, the female star cast will undergo changes as well. Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani will be playing the leading ladies in Welcome 3.
