The second season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is going to hit the screens soon. Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur and Kiku Sharda will be seen in it. Archana Puran Singh will also be a part of it.
Sunil Grover has revealed about the second season that what is going to be special and different this time. He jokingly said, ‘The show has become a little richer, so we are also richer.’
Sunil Grover told IANS, ‘The second season has the same format and it is an extension of season 1. But, we are introducing new characters, new guests. This time our clothes will be more colorful. Also, Archana ji has got a new stylist in the new season. The show has become a little richer, so we are also richer (laughs).’
Earlier, Archana had said that this show has a lot of fans. It is very famous not only in India but also abroad. She promised that the upcoming second season will be even bigger and grander.
Archana told IANS, “Something new, something the same, that’s what the second season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is all about. See, we need to understand that this is a very big show, we cannot completely change the format of the show, because then the audience will feel that the show has lost its soul. We have to work within those boundaries. But, I promise that this season is going to be bigger, bolder and funnier.”
Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakir, Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda will be seen in the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. It starts streaming on Netflix from September 21.
