Representing her children though not a plaintiff herself, actor Karisma Kapoor was present in court. Jethmalani asserted that there was no evidence anyone else apart from Priya Sachdev Kapur prepared the will, adding, “Only one person was given the benefits. If this will is a forgery, then only one person could have forged it.”
The court will continue hearing the Sunjay Kapur estate case on Tuesday. Earlier on October 9, the children had described Priya as “Cinderella’s evil stepmother,” accusing her of greed. In a prior hearing on September 26, the court allowed Priya to submit the list of Sunjay’s assets in a sealed cover and advised all parties to refrain from discussing details with the media.
