Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan’s 16 year old beef is known to all the bollywood fans. Darr was an iconic psychological romantic film starring Sunny Deol as a hero and Shahrukh Khan as a villain.
The film received a lot of praises and appreciation. The audience really liked Sunny Deol’s acting but they loved Shahrukh Khan’s role as a villain which upset Sunny.
Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has broken all the records and earned over ₹400 crore at the box office. Shahrukh Khan also tweeted about the film and praised the makers.
Sunny Deol in an interview with Times Now broke his silence on their current equation. He said, “About the past issues – whatever they were, I would say time heals everything and we move ahead. That’s the way life should be.”
He further added, “Shah Rukh Khan had seen the film. Before that, he had called me and wished me well. He was so happy, and he told me ‘I’m so happy, you genuinely deserve it’ and I said thank you. Then I spoke to his wife (Gauri Khan) and his son (Aryan Khan). And he said tonight we are going to be watching this film. And after that, he had seen it, and I think that is when he tweeted. It was so beautiful. Many times I’ve also called him up and we shared our thoughts on certain things.”
On an episode on Aap Ki Adalat, Sunny Deol opened about his not so good experience after Darr was released and that after it’s release he stopped talking to most of the people in the bollywood industry.
