She has also been quite famous for her relationships as the actress once was a sole target and judgements. After her breakup with Rohman Shawl, Sushmita announced her relationship with the ex chairman of IPL, Lalit Modi.
Lalit Modi also claimed that Sushmita is his ladylove with pictures of them having a vacation together.

As per the reports by bollywoodlife.com, while promoting her film Taali, Sushmita was asked about her reaction towards people calling her Gold Digger to which she replied “It’s good that those comments came to me and I could define ‘gold digger’. An insult is an insult when you receive it, which I don’t. But there are certain things that are nobody’s business. I don’t need to say it’s no one’s business, but I like the word ‘not your business. It’s so cool, she added, adding, ”FYI, I am as single as they come, which is also NOYB.”
Even after facing a lot of judgments and criticisms Sushmita never gave a damn about anything. The actress has been very firm about her stand when it comes to her romantic relationships.
When she was dating Rohman Shawl, she never waited for a moment to express her affection for him. After the breakup, she was proudly single and didn’t hesitate for public appearances.
After the news of her dating Lalit Modi spread, Sushmita openly and unapologetically expressed her feelings for Modi and did not wear a fake mask.
