Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey starrer Netflix’s murder mystery Haseen Dillruba was a big success. Everyone loved the film and talked about it on social media as well. Although Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey played the leads in the film, Harshvardhan Rane played a pivotal role in the 2021 movie.
Taapsee, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan explored lust and infidelity in the murder mystery. And now as per the latest reports, there is much chatter about the movie’s sequel being in the works.

The film was a story of a completely mismatched couple, who tied the knot after an arranged marriage was fixed by their families. However, the movie took a complete U-turn when Taapsee’s character got attracted to her husband’s cousin Harshvardhan Rane.
A source revealed, ‘There is interest in the film because it broke into the Indian market in a way that no other Hindi movie on Netflix was able to. Its success can be attributed to its story and pulpy treatment. The producers and the streaming giant are pursuing the idea of a sequel. Writer Kanika Dhillon is toying with the idea of picking up the narrative from where the first part ended.’

Though no official has confirmed the news, when Taapsee was asked about the sequel of Haseen Dillruba, the actress said, “All I can say at this point is that I can’t deny (the news).”
Reportedly, the producers and the streaming giant are pursuing the idea of a sequel. Writer Kanika Dhillon is toying with the idea of picking up the narrative from where the first part of the movie ended.
