Women and girls living in Delhi-NCR have to be careful, because what happened to a Twitter user can happen to anyone. This is the story of a woman named Gayatri, who alerted women and girls by telling people about an incident that happened to her. Gayatri narrated how the Thak-Thak gang targeted her and how she saved herself from them that night.
What is the Thak Thak Gang?
Gayatri told that members of Thak-Thak gang target vehicles and drivers in Delhi-NCR. They divert attention by saying that there is a problem with the vehicle and then as soon as they get a chance, the things are made to disappear. Any other incident or attack may also be committed.
Gayatri’s horrifying encounter with the Thak Thak gang
Writing a post on X (formerly Twitter), Gayatri said that she was driving on the Outer Ring Road in Delhi and was stuck in a traffic jam. During this time a man came. He started knocking on the car window.
When she did not lower the glass, he started trying to open the door forcibly. When Gayatri protested, the man started shouting. He said that Gayatri had run over his leg, whereas this had not happened. Gayatri told that seeing the commotion, people gathered.
He said that he was walking behind Gayatri’s car to cross the road. By any logic, his foot could not have come under her car, because the car was stuck in the traffic jam and was driving at a speed of 5 kmph.
He had deliberately put something under the rear tire of her car. He was doing such acts with the intention of looting or as part of some conspiracy. His plan was to knock on the car window and claim to have been injured when his feet came under a tyre.
If the crowd had not gathered, he would have made the stuff go missing from her car, so ladies and girls, if this happens to you too, be careful.
Gayatri gave these tips to women that always keep car windows and doors closed, never open a door or window on the request of a stranger and call the police or go to the nearest police station.
