Thalapathy Vijay’s Film Leo Expected to Earn ‘…..’ crores, Double its Budget

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj are re-uniting for another hit after the massive success of Master. Fans have been eagerly waiting for new updates ever since the film has been announced. It is also expected to become a major hit and do huge business. 

This Tamil movie will hit the big screens on October 19 and the fans have been quite excited for the film. The pictures of the lead star Vijay went viral in which he was shooting for the film.  It was seen that a lot of fans were taking selfies with him. 

Fans are impatiently waiting for Leo to release as the rumour has it that the rights of Thalapathy Vijay’s film were sold for quite a hefty amount and this has become a new hot topic in B Town. Leo has music by Anirudh and its digital and music rights have been sold for ₹220 crore. Movie business insiders claimed that the Telugu state theatricals were estimated at ₹25 crores and the Kerala rights reportedly for ₹15 crores. For the theatrical rights of Karnataka, Varisu’s rights were sold for ₹8 crore so that Leo’s rights could be sold for ₹12 crore. 

Leo will be released by its producer Seven Screen Studio in Tamil Nadu on their own. It is also expected that since Varisu was sold for ₹70 crores, Leo can easily earn ₹100 crores in the film trade. The film is also expected to make a business of ₹422 crores because of the anticipated profit of ₹50 crore from foreign rights. The budget of this movie is believed to be around ₹275 crore although no official figure has been revealed.
