The 5-year Old Police Mascot Who Scolded People For Not Wearing Masks, Gets New Pair Of Shoes As Gift

Only a few days ago, a 5-year old little boy named Amit went viral on social media. The boy was seen taking classes of people on the streets of Dharamshala for not abiding by the COVID-19 rules and not wearing proper masks.

People not wearing masks were speechless and did not have answers for a simple question asked by a 5-year old, ‘Where is your mask?’. The Himachal government has made it compulsory for everyone to wear masks due to a great number of tourists flooding the Himachal tourist places like Dharamshala.

But people were found to be very ignorant about it and the little kid took the responsibility on himself to take their lessons. Amit was then made the mascot for coronavirus protocol by the local police. The kid got appreciation and support from all over the country for his gesture.

The boy, who sells balloons to complement his parents’ income was recently gifted a brand new pair of shoes by a twitter user named Akanksha Kapoor. She thanked Dharamshala police for helping her in finding Amit and making the purchase successful. She also requested everyone to help in their own capacity to make Amit’s dream of becoming a policeman, successful.

The little ‘corona warrior’ has won the hearts of the internet. The little boy and his brothers were gifted pahari cap, snacks and an energy drink by Dharamshala police and was also made the mascot for Coronavirus protocols in the region.
