One of the most famous celebrity couples of the Punjabi Industry, Afsaajz or Afsana Khan and Saajz, were all set for their wedding when a petition filed by a Chhattisgarh Woman has brought in an unbelievable twist. Aged 30, Anu Sharma has stated that her divorce with Saajz has been done illegally and for the matter, has filed a petition to stop their marriage.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, Anugrah Ranjan aka Anu Sharma has claimed that Sajan Sharma aka Saajz, got married to her 7 years ago! She has called her divorce with Saajz totally illegal and has requested to put a stop to Afsana and his marriage. She stated that she came to know in December, 2021 that ‘Afsaajz’ were going to get married and immediately tried to contact Saajz via call but he didn’t pick up. She then contacted his family and it was then when she came to know that Saajz had divorced her in Mohali’s District Court in 2019!

Anu Sharma also stated that during the divorce, Saajz gave her wrong address and thus, she was never summoned for the hearing and thus divorce was never finalized. According to her, both of them were married to each other on 6 September, 2014 by the will of both the families and started their life together at Zirakpur. But she was later allegedly tortured for dowry and thus, they decided to part their ways.
The petition also states that Saajz and Anu gave birth to a daughter on 3 February, 2016. Anu stated that Saajz arrived at the hospital at the time of their child’s birth but left shortly after. She further mentioned that she reached Zirakpur with her daughter but was allegedly beaten there. She then returned to Raipur and filed a case in Raipur Women Cell but Saajz never appeared for the hearing.
Saajz was about to get married to Afsana Khan after finalizing his divorce with his last wife. As of now, all we know is that the dream-wedding of Afsaajz has brought in fresh trouble for themselves and it could mean big things in the future.
The matter turning legal can have its impact on Afsana and Saajz wedding. The hearing is scheduled for 18 January, 2021 and further updates can only be given after the hearing.
