
Kiku Sharda has been associated with Kapil Sharma’s comedy show for 11 years. He is often seen as a woman on the show and his friendship with Sunil Grover is loved by all. However, in a recent interview, Kiku told that he never had any apprehension about dressing up as a woman. In a recent interview, Kiku thanked the fans for accepting him in this avatar and told that he can do anything for his work.
Kiku said in a conversation with Indian Express, ‘I never had any problem or doubt about dressing up as a woman, I have done this since the days of The Great Indian Comedy Show. I am an actor so I should be able to do everything that comes in front of me. As far as I consider it entertainment, it is fine. Whenever I play a woman’s character, I see that it is full of dignity, it remains only in the cute zone.’
Kiku further said, ‘If I dressed up as a woman and the audience had not accepted it, I would not have done it but it feels good.’ Kiku said, ‘I can go to any extent for my art.
Kiku Sharda further told how his life changed after joining Kapil Sharma’s show and said, ‘Kapil is at a different height. It has been 11 years since I have been doing this show, but working with Kapil has helped me learn a lot and grow. It has helped me become the good person that I am today.’
Kiku recently returned to Netflix with ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. It also stars Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Sunil Grover and Archana Puran Singh. The first episode of the show premiered recently in which Alia Bhatt also appeared along with Vedang Raina and Karan Johar.
