“The one sitting in Delhi” Will Betray CM Mann And Punjab Too: Says Kumar Vishwas, As Punjab Police Reach His Residence

Renowned poet and ex-AAP leader Kumar Vishwas has slammed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, tweeting and sharing the pictures of Punjab Police reaching his house on Wednesday morning. Targeting the AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, he warned Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann to beware of Kejriwal, saying “he would betray him and Punjab one day”.

He tweeted:

“The Punjab police is at my door in the early morning. I warn you @BhagwantMann, that Kejriwal will betray you and Punjab too one day. The whole country must remember my warning!”

Kumar Vishwas, a former confidante of Arvind Kejriwal, had kicked up controversy during the recent assembly polls by alleging that the AAP national convenor was ‘ready to take support’ from the fringe and separatist elements to win the Punjab elections.

Though Kumar Vishwas didn’t mention in his tweet why the Punjab police reached his residence, though, it has been reported that the Punjab Police has registered an FIR against former AAP leader in connection with his statement against AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. As per the media reports, four Punjab police personnel reached Vishwas’ place today morning and handed him a copy of the FIR.

Recently, BJP leader Tarun Chugh had also slammed the AAP-led government in Punjab over the cases registered against Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and Naveen Kumar Jindal, accusing the AAP govt of politicizing the police force to settle the political scores.

The Punjab Police had recently booked Delhi BJP spokesperson Bagga, who attacked AAP chief Kejriwal over his remarks on ‘The Kashmir Files’. Following a complaint by an AAP leader, he was charged with making provocative statements, promoting enmity and criminal intimidation. The police had also registered an FIR against Delhi BJP media cell head Jindal for allegedly sharing on his Twitter handle a “doctored video clip” of Kejriwal on April 6.

Now with Punjab police reaching the residence of renowned poet and former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, the political tussle between the AAP and its opponents would increase more.
