Jaani said in an interview, that he willingly feels sad, when he wants to. Because there are times when he has to work on a sad song, but is not feeling so, because one cannot feel sad and heartbroken every time. In such case he intentionally feels sad, so than he can write his emotions out. This is the amount of hard work and dedication he puts in his songs. And this proves the love his songs receive from the audience is nothing but actually what he really deserves.

ਜਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਦੂਈ ਤਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੂਵਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਮ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਦੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਗਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਸੋਚ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲਿਖ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਯਕੀਨ ਮੰਨੋ, ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ?
