Kapil Sharma who is one of the most popular comedians has gained a lot of fame with his talent. Despite his humble beginnings, he made his way to the top of TRP charts with his The Kapil Sharma Show. He is now gearing up for the release of his first-ever stand up-special for Netflix ‘I’m Not Done Yet’.
In his upcoming show, he revealed his love life with Ginni Chatrath. In a short clip, Kapil narrated the story from their student days when they were in the same drama group.
Calling Ginni his “favourite among all the actresses,” the comedian revealed that they used to go to the theatre together. “I used to assign a lot of work to her. She used to call me and report what happened and how much they had rehearsed today,” he revealed.

And then one fine day, she called him when he was drunk. “I had Officer’s Choice. I lifted the call and asked her, ‘Do you love me?’ She was shocked. She was wondering how I summoned up the courage. I am thankful that I didn’t have toddy that day, otherwise the question would have been something else like Ginni, does your dad need a driver?,” Kapil disclosed.
After this, Kapil posed the question to Ginni, “You are from a good and well-educated family. What made you love a scooter owner?” In response, she said, “Maine socha paise wale se toh sabhi pyaar karte hai. Iss gareeb ka bhala hi kardun (I thought that everyone loves a rich guy. Let me do some charity for this poor guy).”
The response has apparently left the audience in splits. The duo got married in 2018 and were blessed with two kids named Anayra and Trishaan.
