This Is How Netizens Reacted To Rakesh Tikait On Twitter

Another name that has emerged in the movement with the farmers of Punjab and Haryana is Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union. Rakesh is the son of ‘late Mahendra’ Singh Tikait, who was the farmer leader of Uttar Pradesh and president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union. Tikait had been struggling with the problems of farmers for almost 25 years and he had credibility among Jaat farmers, especially in western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. However, Rakesh Tikait said that “The protest at the Ghazipur site will end as there was pressure from the administration vacate the space.”
