The Trump family has introduced a new mobile phone service called Trump Mobile. Eric Trump, son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, made the announcement on Monday, stating that the service is designed to provide Americans with reliable and value-driven wireless connectivity.
At the center of this launch is the T1 Phone, a gold-colored smartphone that is described as “proudly designed and built in the United States.” While the Trump name features prominently, the phone itself will be manufactured by another company, not by Trump Mobile directly.
The T1 Phone is priced at \$499 and is now available for pre-order on the Trump Mobile website. A deposit of \$100 is required to reserve the device, with shipping expected to begin in September. For those not looking to buy a new phone, the Trump Mobile service is also available for existing devices.
“Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that’s affordable, reflects their values, and delivers reliable quality they can count on,” said Eric Trump in his statement.
This move is part of the Trump Organization’s broader efforts to enter the consumer tech space with products that align with their brand values.
