Two Actresses, Starring In Crime Patrol And Savdhaan India, Arrested By Mumbai Police In Case Of Robbery

On friday, June 18, two female actresses named Surabhi Shrivastava (25) and Mosina Mukhtar Shaikh (19) who ironically worked in crime-related television programs were arrested in the case of robbery. 

Both the actresses have remanded the police custody until June 23. When asked for the reason for the robbery, they said they were looking for an apartment after their show went off the air for a while due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, so they were facing some financial issues.

But afterward, they got a place to stay with another woman, in Royal Palms in Aarey Milk Colony, run by one of their friends as paying guest accommodation. They further added that the third woman had Rs  3.2 lakhs in the locker which they stole and fled from the house.

Both Surabhi and Moshina, get arrested when police officials check the CCTV footage, that they were leaving the building with a bag. In the footage, it was clearly seen that they were holding a bundle of money which they took down. 

According to the ANI’s report, the police have recovered 50,000rs and now they are further working on it. Moreover, police officials said, apart from working in Savdhaan India and Crime Patrol, they both have worked in some of the web series too.
