The Punjabi Film Industry is currently collecting appreciation for experimenting with a variety of content. And now, one exciting project with a new theme has been added to the list of upcoming Punjabi movies.
Titled Jahankhelan, a new Punjabi film has been recently announced which will star Jobanpreet Singh in the leading role. Joban took it to his Instagram account and shared the film’s announcement poster with full enthusiasm.
With the poster, Robanpreet has also shared a heartfelt and long note in the post’s caption. Roban wrote that he has personally been to police training and has spent 9 months before transforming into a disciplined police officer.

Revealing details about the story of Jahankhelan, Robanpreet wrote, “Eh kahani har police wale di Apni kahani hovegi. Main khudh is training da hissa reha haan, sahid isse karke eh kahani mere dil de kareeb hai. Is kahani nu cinema tak laeke auna layi Waheguru ne meri duty lagai hai. Meri puri koshish rahegi apni duty puri kar, khara utran di. Is film da shoot assi covid to pehla karna c, meri injury hon karke sab kam ruk giya c. Par hun hor late nhi. Jahankhelan vich aksar kehnde hunde c.”
Now coming to the credits of this special project, Jhankhelan is presented by Mandy Takhar Studios and Minhas Films. Jobanpreet has penned the story of this film, who will also be seen in the leading role. The film is directed by Kamaljit Singh and is scheduled to release in 2023.
