Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif Wedding Footage Rights Reportedly Sold To Amazon Prime For 80 Crores

The rumours of VicKat wedding footage to be sold to an online streaming platform, were rounding all over the internet since yesterday and now it seems that the rumours are now getting true very soon. 

It was earlier just questionable and rumoured that the wedding footage of the to-be-held wedding of Vicky and Katrina would be sold to an OTT platform and would be presented as a movie or series later. But it is now slightly confirmed that Amazon Prime Video is the online streaming platform to buy the rights to present their wedding footage on their platform.

According to the Mid-day reports, apparently the wedding telecast rights of Vicky and Katrina’s marriage have been sold to Amazon Prime Video for Rs 80 crores. The OTT platform is looking to start a series of weddings with VicKat, starting from their love story to the roka ceremony held months ago and then the 4 day celebration, Sangeet to Reception.

The platform will also be taking care of the expenses of sangeet and mehendi functions from the marriage and has appointed cameraman and videographers to record and capture the big fat Indian wedding. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and other artists are also sponsored by the OTT platform to perform at their wedding.

Earlier Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were also offered to telecast their wedding footage on OTT but they denied the offer and now it seems Vicky and Katrina would start this trend in Bollywood soon. 

Meanwhile, no official confirmation from Amazon and Vikcy-Katrina’s end has been made, let us just wait for them to announce this officially.
