Vicky Kaushal Once Rejected Uri: The Surgical Strike. Read To Know What Changed His Mind

Sardar Udham’s actor Vicky Kaushal has gained massive fame from the movie Uri: The Surgical Strike, but did you know the actor has once rejected this movie. He played the role of Vihan Shergill and also received his first National Film Award for the film in 2019. However, he revealed the reason why he almost renounced the opportunity when he first read the script. The reason behind this was because he was in the middle of shooting Raazi. And due to his tiredness, he didn’t read the script carefully and missed the good parts of the story and couldn’t connect them.

Vicky said that it was only after his father, Sham Kaushal who found the script and read it. He then told Vicky that it would be the biggest mistake if he didn’t do it. So, the actor was asked to read it one more time. He then read again and felt it was right and rethought it.
