Vijender Singh to Return Khel Ratna if Farmer’s Demands not Addressed

Proffesional Boxer and Olymipic bronze medalist Vijender Singh visited farmers protest at Singhu Border on December 6th .  The 35 year old from Haryana’s Bhiwani thanked Punjab for starting such a revolution throughout the country . He also referred Punjab as the big brother of Haryana . He also said that Punjab has given him immense support always and he can never return it back .

He also made a big statement that he will return his Rajiv Gandhi khel Ratna award i.e – “ India’s most prestigious award in sports” ,  if government doesn’t take these farms law back.

Earlier former national boxing coach Gurbaksh Singh Saandhu , who was in-charge of Vijender in the Beijing Olympics had also talked of returning his dronacharya award if farmer’s demands are not met.

Earlier Vijender has also tweeted many times  in support of farmers.
