Punjabi Singer Virasat Sandhu who gave many hit songs like ‘Jatt Da Future’, ‘Hor Das’ and many more to the industry is all set to hook his fans with new and unique songs. The singer recently shared a poster of his upcoming song ‘Purana Punjab’ which will be delivered in four parts. The name clearly suggests that the songs will highlight old Punjab, it’s culture and whatever changes it goes through.
Virasat shared the poster of the song and penned a long note in which he expressed that it’s his dream project. He wanted to do something like this for a long time but was not getting an opportunity. And now when he gets a chance he probably doesn’t want to miss it.
In his note, he explained that people are less keen on reading books nowadays so he will croon something valuable and productive in this song. For him, songs are not only for entertainment but to teach and deliver useful elements to the audience.
The song will highlight everything from the old Punjab like five rivers, the story of Aknoor’s Sardaari, chowkra throne.
He further saluted the lyrics of Satgur Nangla to which Sukh Brar gave the music. The poster is very fascinating which shows our respected Gurus, an old-torn book and a quill.
